About The AUTHOR TODAY Website:
The AuthorToday website was created as a site to showcase authors on the web. My goal is to provide
authors with a page where they can not only let the world know they're published, but also let people know about their books and other places on the web where they are active/actively promoting themselves/their books.
How To Become An Author Today
Member:
If you would like to
have your own page at AuthorToday, the cost is fairly reasonable at
just $10 USD a year per author. I've set the price low because I've
built
this site as a sort of "hobby site", a project site I can work on
a few hours each day that gives me something to do without the pressure of feeling like I
need to stay right at my computer all the time. I'll build the page,
you make your payment, it's good for a year.
Please note: if you write
under more than one name, each pseudonym counts as a different
author. You'll want to take that into account when joining.
All payments are made through
PayPal, but you don't need to send any money until I have
created your page.
I'm asking all authors who get a page to join the AuthorToday Author
list (handled by Google Groups) so I have an easy way to get in
touch with you. Use the form below for that.
Okay, here's the form. Just type
in your email address and click the button.
Sending Your Materials:
Now, let's talk about what you need to send me for your page,
and where to send it.
I'll need the following Author Info:
-----------------
Author Photo
Author Bio
URL to Author website
URLs to other sites you are active on
and I'll need the following Book Info (for each of your books):
-------------------------------------------------
Cover Image
Title
Author
ISBN
Publisher
Back Cover Blurb
Just gather all this information together and send it to me in an
email to
tina "at" fictionpromotions (dot) com . I'll take it and build
your page on the site. When it's completed and live, I'll send you
an email with details regarding how to pay for your page. Again, all
payments will be made through PayPal. If you don't currently have an
account, setting one up is easy and it's free. Just go to http://www.paypal.com
and create your PayPal account.
About Updates:
I know someone is going to ask about this, so here's my policy on
updates:
You can add new book information anytime you have a new release. I'll post the
information as soon as I reasonably can. New releases updates get priority,
but if by some miracle there are thousands of pages on the site, I
expect you to realize you aren't the only author who might have sent
in info on a new release and take it in stride if your update
doesn't appear immediately. Give me some time. I'm putting
everything onsite by hand...no automation.
Other information (such
as updated bios, new links, etc.) will be updated as time allows,
and on a first come, first served basis.
Price
Increases:
Yes, in time the price might go up for an
author page at AuthorToday. If it does and you already have an
author page here (you're already a member), you don't have anything to
worry about. Your rate is locked in... until you unsubscribe/cancel
your membership.
People who join
after
the posting or notification of an increase in rates will pay the
then in force rate... and that rate will be locked in for them
regardless of future rate increases, until they unsubscribe/cancel
their membership.
IMPORTANT: I reserve the right to refuse to
create any author a page for any reason even no reason whatsoever.

P. K. Eden is the alter ego of writing partners Patt Milhailoff and

Rowena
Cherry - Rowena Cherry's youth was spent on the tiny British

earth-goddess, historic Martello towers, underground gun
emplacements, and legends of faery men.
Leeann Burke -
I can’t remember a time when I
didn’t have characters living in my head. It wasn’t until the age of
12 that I realized not everyone hears characters talking to them.
That’s about the time I put pen to paper and created their stories. |
